How to set and achieve your goals

Many of us know have many dreams we would love to pursue. We have short term goals and long term goals. Through many years of trial and error(mainly error) I have learned the rules to use to achieve what you want out of life. Believe me, I have had many fails in life(failed business, job layoff) but I have also accomplished many things. I have talked about fear and taking a leap of faith so I won't go into that, but once you conquer your fear of doubt you are ready to take on your dreams.

So here are some personal rules that I go by in order to achieve my goals.

Make a list of what you would like to do.

Ask yourself..if money wasn't an option What could I see myself doing everyday?

What's stopping you from achieving your goal? Everyone has bumps in the road or things that are stopping them from doing what they love. It can be money, family issues or a combination of several things. Identify whats holding you back and work towards overcoming your obstacles.

What can you do for yourself to achieve your goal? Everyone has a war within their selves at some point. Whether it is negative thinking or fear of failure, you must make a change within before you can accomplish your dreams.

How long will it take you to achieve your goal? Most of us can't just up and quit our 9 to 5 jobs to purse another career. So make a plan of action. If money is something holding you back start saving. If it is a skill you need to learn to start your new path then sign up for classes. Either way, take action.

The main thing is to never stop dreaming. It is never too late to accomplish and get what you want out of life. Surround yourself with positive people who are as motivated as you are and never give up!

Best Pinterest Inspired Summer Hairstyles

Every time I need a little inspiration, I get on Pinterest. I love these hot weather hairstyles that I recently discovered while pinning. I hardly ever wear my hair down in the summer, my hair is really long, thick and black so you can imagine how hot it is. So i'm always looking to try new hairstyles to sport in the summer months, these are my favorite pins for summer hair.

H&M for kids

Both of my sons are very fashion forward. With that being said, before I had children I had no idea little boys are so concerned with their appearance. Or maybe they took after us, after all my husband and I put a lot of thought into what we wear. My oldest son Jackson is the worst. If he doesn't like what outfit I pick out for him, he makes sure to let me know. Jameson is the almost as bad, he has to have his hair fixed every time we leave the house.

Like every other american, I love h&m. There clothes and accessories are super chic and very affordable. It wasn't until last week when I received an H&M catalog in the mail that I realized they sold little boys clothing(be still my beating heart). Like everything else from H&M, its super affordable(cha-ching)!

These are my favorite looks for the spring collection for boys.

Bare Minerals Beauty and the Beach Review

Last week I cashed in my beauty points on Sephora.com for this lovely sample set by bare minerals. The set is called Beauty and the Beach and it includes 5 pieces for a summer look. The set included marvelous moxie lip gloss in party starter, ready bronzer in the skinny dip, bare minerals ready blush in the natural high, all over face color in pure radiance and a sample of their lash domination mascara. So here is my take on the set: Here it is ladies!
Marvelous Moxie lipgloss in Party Starter- this is a darker, coral and peach color. It was very sticky but it lasted for a few hours. It matched the blush perfectly.
Ready Blush in The Natural High: This blush is a nice peachy pink color, it looks really shimmery in the package but looks more matte when applied. I loved that the color matched the gloss!
Ready Bronzer in The Skinny Dip- I used this to contour and sculpt my face and it turned out beautiful. It matched my skin tone very nicely. Its very similar to the too faced bronzers.
