Mommy's Day, Giveaway Winner and 20 Questions

Weekly Tidbits:

Happy Mother's Day to all the mommy's, grandma's, step mom's, and mother's to be! I hope all of you are enjoying the day with your favorite women. Mother's are so special to each and every one, shouldn't we all show our mom's more appreciation every day of the year instead of only doing it on mother's day? 
Yesterday I went to my hometown and spent some time with my mom for mother's day.  I wish I could see her more often and I wish she lived closer.  Today, for mother's day I am spending the day with my children and husband. My husband always makes mother's day extra special for me!

 I don't have a much exciting news this week. On Thursday I announced the winner of my first giveaway, Maria Cartera. Maria won the chocolate bar palette from Too Faced cosmetics. I will be doing more giveaways in the future, as I get more followers so stay tuned!

 I have more posts that I am excited about this week. I will be continuing the designer series and I am going to be giving some style tips.

 Favorite color: Pink. I'm such a girly girl.

Favorite number: 7. It's my birth month and lucky number.

Dream career: Fashion Designer

Where do you see yourself living when you’re on your own? I've lived on my own for 8 years now(since I was 18), but I would love to live in NYC or Paris.

Favorite way to travel: Plane. I hate long car rides.

What do you do in your free time? Watch movies, play with my kids, shop.

Favorite clothing stores:  Guess, Bebe, Norstrom, Macy's, Tj Maxx, Charlotte Russe, this list is endless.

Who would you like to see in concert? Erik and I are huge fans of Zakk Wylde so Black Label Society.

Favorite tea blend?  Chamomile and peppermint tea.

If you were given 1 million dollars all for yourself what would you do with it?  Pay off student loans, take my kids to Disney world, and buy my mom a nice car.

Favorite make-up brand? Urban Decay

Favorite treat to eat?  Ice cream

What is your favorite season? Spring. I love watching nature come alive.

Do you sleep with your doors open or closed? Closed

 Why did you start blogging? I wanted to use it as a platform to share my passion for fashion, beauty and I wanted use it to help others.

Do you have any magazine subscriptions?  Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire.

What were you doing at 12AM last night? watching Sons of Anarchy reruns

Bare Minerals Beauty and the Beach Review

Last week I cashed in my beauty points on Sephora.com for this lovely sample set by bare minerals. The set is called Beauty and the Beach and it includes 5 pieces for a summer look. The set included marvelous moxie lip gloss in party starter, ready bronzer in the skinny dip, bare minerals ready blush in the natural high, all over face color in pure radiance and a sample of their lash domination mascara . So here is my take on the set: Here it is ladies! Marvelous Moxie lipgloss in Party Starter- this is a darker, coral and peach color. It was very sticky but it lasted for a few hours. It matched the blush perfectly. Ready Blush in The Natural High : This blush is a nice peachy pink color, it looks really shimmery in the package but looks more matte when applied. I loved that the color matched the gloss! Ready Bronzer in The Skinny Dip- I used this to contour and sculpt my face and it turned out beautiful. It matched my skin tone very nicely. Best Fragrances of 2017

I am such a Perfume junkie. I change fragrances with clothes, moods, seasons and events. I've always felt like Perfume is a luxury that women should spoil their selves with. I love giving perfumes to my friends, family, co-workers, neighbors(you get the picture). And my favorite gift is always perfume(hint-hint)! Every department store visit, I head to the fragrance counter before I check out anything else to see what's new(Yes fragrance  girl, you can give me a spritz).  Ok, now that  you get the idea of how deep my relationship with perfume is.  2017 has been a great year for the fragrance industry. I thought long and hard and I really can't remember trying a scent that I didn't like. From new releases from beloved favorite brands, Gucci Bloom, Victor & Rolf Magic, Tom Ford Oud Minerale to new fragrences from Diptyque Eau des Sens, Jo Malone London Jade Leaf Tea Cologne, and Atelier Cologne Café Tuberosa.  It was a struggle to find my top 5 favorite scent
