Beauty tips you already know, but don't practice

Have you ever seen women who look perfect with no makeup on at all? We all envy these women but everyone can look good and feel more comfortable in our skin if we just take better care of ourselves. I'm sure you have heard or read these tips but try them, in no time at all you will see improvement in your own appearance and they also make you feel good on the inside. Try these beauty tips and get ready to feel confident without a stitch of makeup.

Get your beauty sleep- When we lose sleep, not only does it make us feel bad but it makes us look bad, dark circles and puffy eyes anyone? Set your internal clock by going to bed the same time every night and waking up the same time every day.

Stay Hydrated- The list of beauty benefits from drinking water is endless. Drinking water makes your eyes shine, your skin more radiant, and prevents premature aging.

Get off your Butt- Doing at least 30 minutes a day, 3 times a week of cardio can improve your overall health, and when we are healthy it shows on the outside.
Get your heart pumping! Go for a jog, try a new exercise class at the gym or buy an at home exercise video. Not only will it make you feel better on the inside, but it will improve your overall body appearance.

Moisturize- If your not using a face moisturizer, go buy some now. There's nothing worse than dry skin on your face. Also, dry skin makes it almost impossible to put on makeup. The best and most simple moisturizer to use is Oil of Olay Active Hydrating Beauty Fluid. Not only does it lock moisture in your skin but it is very inexpensive(less than $10 a bottle).  Another bonus of moisturizing, it prevents premature aging.

Take your Vitamins-  Not only are Vitamins good for your health, but they make your hair and nails shine and grow faster. Vitamins also make your skin glow. Try a multivitamin or a Vitamin B.

Treat your body as a temple. If you are healthy and take care of yourself, it will show on the outside.

  2. I must really agree with a lot of these! We've heard they are all good for us but none of us end up using them... Something I better start doing :) The sleeping one and hydration will definitely be the hardest though.

Bare Minerals Beauty and the Beach Review

Last week I cashed in my beauty points on Sephora.com for this lovely sample set by bare minerals. The set is called Beauty and the Beach and it includes 5 pieces for a summer look. The set included marvelous moxie lip gloss in party starter, ready bronzer in the skinny dip, bare minerals ready blush in the natural high, all over face color in pure radiance and a sample of their lash domination mascara. So here is my take on the set: Here it is ladies!
Marvelous Moxie lipgloss in Party Starter- this is a darker, coral and peach color. It was very sticky but it lasted for a few hours. It matched the blush perfectly.
Ready Blush in The Natural High: This blush is a nice peachy pink color, it looks really shimmery in the package but looks more matte when applied. I loved that the color matched the gloss!
Ready Bronzer in The Skinny Dip- I used this to contour and sculpt my face and it turned out beautiful. It matched my skin tone very nicely. Its very similar to the too faced bronzers.

Review: Too Faced Teddy Bear Brush Set

By request, here is my very first beauty product review.

This lovely brush set is the Teddy Bear Hair Brush Set by Too Faced Cosmetics, $65 on sephora.com. I've always been a fan of Too Faced, there products are great and I love how they package and market their products. So of course I was very excited to receive this brush set. This set comes with 5 makeup brushes and a bag to carry them. I love tge bag, I see myself using it for something else; i dont like tge idea of makeup brushes being loose in a bag. The set includes a large powder brush and 4 brushes for the eyes, contour, blender, all over shadow and liner.

The brushes as expected, are super soft. They really feel like a soft teddy bear! I also loved that they printed the name of the brush on the handle, so you could always know what each brush is for. So after using the brushes to apply my makeup here are my thoughts:

Powder Brush: This is my new favorite big brush! I don't wear powder but I used it for a blush brus…
