"Because i'm happy, clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth..."
Unless you've been living in a cave, Happy by Pharell Williams is huge right now. The lyrics are contagious and very upbeat. Happiness is what every human wants. We spend our whole lives trying to find it and keep it. It's vital for us as humans to be well, happy. I would like to challenge you to try the following 5 exercises at least once a day for 1 week. I promise you if you complete all of these tasks, you will have a brighter outlook and be happier!
Savor the moment: You've heard the saying, take time to stop and smell the roses. That's essentially what savoring the moment is. It boosts positivity and reduces stress. Notice all the good stuff around you and take a moment to enjoy it. So whether it's spending time with those you love, pausing to admire the sunset or stars at night, or cooking a meal. Linger, take it in, and enjoy the experience.
Thank Someone: Appreciate the things people do for us. It fills us with optimism and self-confidence, knowing that others are there for us. It also strengthens our relationships with loved ones. When we express our gratitude to someone, we get kindness and gratitude in return.
Aspire for more:Aspiration is having hope and having a sense of purpose. People who have created meaning in their lives are happier and more satisfied with their lives. Have dreams, and follow them.
Give: Everything about giving is a no brainier. Obviously, when you give someone something, you make them happier. But what you might not know is when you give someone something, it makes you happier than the receiver. Give a compliment, donate clothes you don't wear to the goodwill, give your time to help someone, do a random act of kindness, remember a family members birthday and send them a card, the list is endless!
Empathize: Empathy is a powerful word packed with lots of different interpretations. It's the ability to care about others and to understand the situation others are in, including those different from ourselves. Essentially it's putting yourself in someone elses shoes. When we empathize with people, we become less judgmental, less frustrated, angry or disappointed. It also strengthens our relationships. And when we really empathize with others, they're very likely to do the same with us.

I totally agree! Happiness is the key to life, to living it and enjoying it. If you don't have it you can not love nor live. Its so simple, but its the truth.
